The promise
You answer a short questionnaire about the book you want. You click Auto-Complete. You close the laptop. You wake up — or you come back from work, or you finish dinner — and a full-length manuscript is sitting in your library. Polished. Continuity-checked. Final-edited. Exported to EPUB.
That is not a feature most AI writing tools offer. Most tools require you to be present, paragraph by paragraph. Auto-Complete is built around the opposite assumption: the human should make the high-leverage creative decisions, and the system should handle the long, repetitive structural work.
What Auto-Complete actually does, in order
When you start a run, the system executes the same pipeline a human would run interactively, with no manual stops between steps.
- Builds the Book Bible from your questionnaire — premise, tone, characters, tropes, ending shape, heat level, voice targets.
- Drafts a chapter outline that maps escalation, character arcs, and subplot threads across the full word count.
- For each chapter, runs the full pipeline: pitch generation, draft, critique pass, consistency pass against the bible and prior chapters, polish pass.
- After the last chapter drafts, runs Final Edit across the entire manuscript as one document — finds duplicate scenes, contradictions, dropped threads, broken pacing.
- Exports to EPUB and notifies you the book is ready.
Why it works
The reason Auto-Complete produces something usable is not raw model power. It is that the pipeline is structured to surface and repair its own mistakes. Each chapter is judged before it drafts. Each draft is judged after it completes. Each completed chapter feeds context forward into the next. The Final Edit gives the system a chance to see the whole book at once and fix things only visible at the manuscript level.
A long-form generation problem becomes a series of smaller problems with explicit checks between them. That is the difference between an AI that writes a great paragraph and an AI that writes a finished book.
Where the human still matters
The questionnaire is short, but it is the most important hour you will spend on the book. Auto-Complete is faithful to your inputs. Vague inputs produce vague books. Specific inputs — a sharp premise, a named trope, a clear ending shape, a concrete heat level — produce specific books.
The other place the human still matters is the read-through. Auto-Complete produces a manuscript that is clean, continuity-safe, and on-spec. It does not produce a manuscript with your fingerprints on it unless you read through and add them. Many authors run Auto-Complete to a finished draft, then spend a week doing targeted edits — replacing a few key passages with their own voice, adjusting one character's arc, tightening the ending. The system supports that workflow directly.
What it costs
One book credit. One book. A 70,000-word manuscript with EPUB export, all pipeline passes, and Final Edit included. No subscription, no tokens to count, no overage charges. If you want a cover, an audiobook, or a marketing trailer, those use their own credit pools. If you want to revise after the run, revisions inside the same book do not cost an additional credit.
