Module 11 · Lesson 4 of 5

Turn viewers into readers.

A comment like “Would love the details” is a reader asking how to buy. Answer it the same day, with the link.

The steps

  1. Answer every comment, even a short one. People who get a reply often come back.

  2. “Would love the details” deserves a reply with the link, the same day.

  3. Write that reply once, in the box below. It stays there, ready to copy whenever someone asks.

Example: “Thank you! It’s called ______. You can read the first chapter free here: ______.”

A free first chapter

  1. Point people to a free first chapter. Most book stores show a free sample of your book; link to that. It lets readers try the story before they pay.

Still writing your book? Writing your first chapter on BookWriter is free: make your free account.

  2. A trailer works as an ad for the book. Post it again when the book has news: a launch, a sale or a good review.

Does it pay for itself?

  1. Open the Book Trailer ROI Calculator. ROI means what you get back for what you spent.

It shows how many books a trailer has to sell to pay for itself.

Fill it in here. It saves as you type, and later lessons use it.

Do this now

Write your reply for people who ask for details.

Check yourself

  • Is your reply saved, ready to paste?
  • Does it include the link to your book or its free first chapter?

If any answer is no, go back over the steps, or look below.

Stuck?

I get rude comments.
Don’t argue. Delete or hide the comment, and answer the kind ones.
Nobody comments.
Ask a question in your caption, like “Would you open the letter?” Questions get answers.
The app hides my link.
Write “link in bio” instead, and check the link on your profile works.

Still stuck? Email info@bookwriter.vip and say which lesson you’re on. A person reads every message and writes back.
